One More Month
...until my baby is a toddler! I can't believe how fast the time is flying by! The teething thing is going TONS better the past couple of days. He actually takes a bottle for me and is fine, however, daycare can't get him to take one anymore! I don't know what they are doing differently other than maybe not "working" with him but I don't even have to work with him to get him to take one! He just does it! He has one in the morning, one around naptime...before or after lunch, and one at bedtime. Sometimes one in the afternoon too but it just depends. He drinks 5-8 ounces every time too! At daycare he drinks about 5 all day...that includes the morning bottle. I normally give him baby cereal in the morning followed by a bottle...which he hasn't been drinking but this weekend I started giving him his bottle first and them some cereal-cheerios or something else. He wouldn't eat the oatmeal last weekend after he had his bottle, but he would eat cheerios or something else...which will hold him over until lunch time! We'll see what this week brings I guess. If I change his morning routine maybe he'll drink more of a bottle at daycare. I can hope anyway!
Anyway...happy 11 months to my baby boy! He's getting so big and sweeter and sweeter every day! Yesterday after nap, I was going through the Winnie the Pooh characters with him. I think he may actually recognize Pooh and Eeyore!!! He's getting closer on Piglet but still hardly a clue on Tigger and Rabbit! He likes the turtle sticker on his door though! He is so cute! He is so smart too...he must get that from his 2 aunts! Not that he doesn't get some brains from mom and dad...but his aunts catch on in like 2 seconds compared to Skip and I who have to sit and think about it for a minute! At least someone in the family will have brains! Look out Ivy league here we come! (just kidding...but we could be hopeful) :)
