Night # 3
Tonight was definitely the easiest it has been to get him to sleep. I think this weekend will be the "real" test though.
Last night he went to bed very well. He cried for about 30 seconds and didn't wake up at all until 5am. He woke up but he was pretty cold, so I put a blanket on him and he went right back to sleep. Then a little after 6 he woke up crying again. He cried for about 30 minutes and then fell asleep. 20 minutes later he woke up talking and smiling like nothing had ever happened! I couldn't do anything this morning though because I had to take a shower and get ready for work. It never hurts them to cry a little. Tonight I gave him his bottle and put him down and he talked for a few seconds and then was out. Hopefully tonight will be the first night he "sleeps through the night" without his pacifier. I am really hoping that this weekend goes very smoothly too! Wish us luck!!!

Way to stick with it! He'll likely never remember it at this age so a few nights of restless sleep will be totally worth it in the long run. I, on the other hand, am in for a nightmare when I decide to finally take away Ellie's (who is 20 months!) pacifier at night. Good luck! I look forward to hearing how this weekend went!
