Pacifier Update & First Haircut!!

Well, Leon is officially broke from the pacifier I believe! He hasn't had it in over 48 hours now! He had it last at daycare on Thursday afternoon. Friday he didn't have it at all and I haven't given it to him. I have put all of them away as well. I brought the ones from daycare home yesterday so he won't have any there. I'll have to make sure to tell his other teacher that he no longer has any there and that he is NOT to have one from now on! I'm so relieved at how easy it really was. It was one of the things I was really dreading but he apparently wasn't too attached to it yet!

Today I went and used my mother's day gift certificate. I got a sweedish massage and a haircut. I'm SO excited, I absolutely LOVE my hair now! I'll have to take a picture tomorrow maybe to post. It means I actually have to get up to do it now in the mornings before work but at least I'll look better than having my hair up in a pony tail ALL the time!

Today was Leon's first haircut too. I took him to Cookie Cutters. They give you a certificate with the date, picture, and some of the hair. Danielle has been telling me he was starting to look like he had a mullet so I decided it was time. I wanted to wait until he had enough hair to actually "keep" though. When we got there, the lady who cut his hair mentioned the "baby mullet" so I was beginning to wonder how many other people were thinking he had one too! HORRIBLE MOM I tell you! At least they can't say that now. He did SO good too. He was actually VERY still and cooperated until the very end. They weren't busy either so we got right in. I bet we were only there about 15 minutes or so...if even that. He sat in a tractor and watched an Elmo movie while they cut it. He didn't have much so it's not like it took really long to do! I also think he may be working on cutting some more teeth. His gums on bottom are very red and swollen. I'm sure they hurt! I'll keep you updated on the teeth too.
