Frustration

Sometimes the people at daycare can be extremely frustrating. Leon has done GREAT going to bed without a pacifier for almost a month now...I think, maybe longer. Anyway, Danielle had to pick Tony up early from daycare today and when she did Leon was taking a nap. Well, that wasn't the problem...he had a PACIFIER in his mouth while he was sleeping!!!!!! I immediately got absolutely furious with them. I can't believe they would actually do that when they KNOW he hasn't had one for so long. I called one of his teachers who wasn't here when he fell asleep. She's pregnant and only working 4 hours a day so he was already asleep with it when she got there. I asked her how often he's been getting one and she said that today was the first time she's seen one in his mouth for a long time. So, I was ok with that...for the time being. I'm going to talk to the other teacher...the one who I KNOW gave it to him in the morning when I drop him off. I don't get it...he is completely broke and they give it to him and of course he's going to have a hard time going to sleep tonight without it! STUPID PEOPLE I tell you! I am so angry...they aren't the ones who have to sit and listen to him cry at night for it when they ruin it during the day. His teacher that works the half day said that she thinks they gave it to him because he was fussy...well, DUH I told them this morning that he is teething...MOLARS PEOPLE...and to give him some Motrin if he got fussy...so what did they do? Give him Motrin, then a pacifier and put him to bed! Man...what is wrong with people sometimes?!?! Needless to say, I'm going to talk to them in the morning and request that he NEVER gets one ever again! Not only that, but I also take Desitin to daycare for them to put on to PREVENT diaper rash...not to use when he gets it! He's so use to having it on most of the time that he gets it horribly if they don't put it on him just about every time. Both times he's gotten diaper rash was because they didn't put it on him! Why can't they take care of your kid like they're suppose to? It takes an extra 10 seconds to put the damn desitin on! Ok...I'm done venting now :)

As for the teething process, his molar on his left lower side is just about to break through the skin. He's been a little more cranky but nothing like Tony has been so far with the teething process! Leon is doing great actually. I'm very proud of him! I gave him Tylenol before bedtime. After his bath tonight, when he would laugh you could barely see a white part on his gum. It's not through yet really but I'm sure it will be tomorrow or the next day. If it's not I'd be surprised. It's just one corner, but once it starts...it won't stop! So, yeah for 1 molar anyway! That still leaves 7 more after this...3 molars, and 4 incisors! I knew as soon as he started getting congested almost a week ago that we'd be seeing a tooth coming through! He always gets that way almost a week exactly before they come through!

Here are some pictures for you. It's been rather cool lately so he's been wearing long sleeves to daycare. Enjoy and I'll try to update tomorrow evening about the First Steps Evaluation!
