Ready for Vacation!!!

That's what we're calling it anyway!! We are going out of town next weekend to go visit one of my college roommates. I can't wait! We haven't been on a family trip in 2 years, so it's going to be nice to get away and relax some. (although I'm not sure how much relaxing we'll actually do) We will be about half an hour outside of Chicago, so we plan on going to Chicago at least one day and going to the Shedd Acquarium. I think the boys will LOVE it. I know Leon will and I'm sure Noah will too. He likes to watch the fish and stuff at the zoo so I'm sure he'd enjoy that as much as a baby can I guess. :) We plan on going to the beach one day, and maybe the zoo up there, I'm not really sure...I just know Leon is dying to take a train ride, so we plan on taking the train to Chicago...he doesn't know it, but that's what I want to do. He'd be so excited! She also has a pool, a small one at her house so the boys can play in the water and everything. I just hope Noah isn't too cranky from having the scope done the day before we leave. We will leave on Friday and be back Monday, so it's not too long of a trip, but still...one we are excited to take. We have a really busy week this week though! I think Sunday is the only day out of the next week and a half that we aren't doing anything! It will be busy busy busy around here doing laundry, getting the boys stuff together, our stuff together, getting the dogs out to the vet to be boarded and all that kind of fun stuff...it's a good thing cats can tend to themselves!! :) Skip is really looking forward to the little trip too. Hopefully the boys, mainly Noah do well in the car for a 3 hour drive! It'll be the longest one they've been on, so it's kind of a test I guess.

Leon's first t-ball game went well. He didn't do as well as he had been hitting, but hopefully he'll get in some practice this weekend in our busy schedule. We aren't hardly ever busy, but I guess when something is going on, EVERYTHING goes on! I'll have to make sure to charge the camera to take...can't forget that!!!
