GI Appt Update

The GI appt went better than I thought it would actually. He had me tell him everything that I was concerned about, how long it's been going on, what tests they've ran so far...which is nothing, and answer some other questions he had. His first question after telling him everything was, "Have you ever heard of a gastric emptying study?" My response, "Not until yesterday." I am assuming that is what he thinks the problem is, but he won't know until he runs the test on him to find out. Last night he didn't want to eat dinner, same tonight...but he had a later lunch than normal too. They gave me a list of things to do with his formula...old one, we don't have to use the new one that he HATES!! We have an upper GI test scheduled for Friday morning, and next Thursday, we are doing the gastric emptying study, so hopefully we will find something out soon about what is wrong with him. We are suppose to start vitamins again, and make his milk higher calorie, and add some cereal to it for more calories so he can gain some weight. Right now, as long as he gains some more weight, he said he can't see doing the g-tube which is GREAT news for me! I had already planned on fighting that one! I have all of his NG tube stuff but they don't seem to be too worried about him since he's gaining weight, although it is VERY slowly! He weight 14 lbs 11.5 oz today which is up almost 2 oz from Monday...so there's some improvement there I guess...keep up the good work Noah...as far as the weight goes :)
