GI Appt

Tomorrow afternoon Noah goes to the GI dr. It's just a consultation, but maybe we can get some answers for what tests need to be ran. He had therapy today, and she suggested having him tested for gastric emptying as well, possibly. That is when your stomach doesn't empty fast enough, therefore you feel full all the time and don't want to eat too often. Noah will go 6 hours sometimes without eating. When he was on the NG tube, I had to call the doctor because he hadn't eaten in 6 hours, and he still wasn't ready to eat again. This seems to happen quite a bit. She said if they put the g tube in, and he has that, it won't matter because no matter how much fluid I try to get him to take through the tube, he wouldn't accept it because he is "full". I need to make a list of things to bring up with the doctor tomorrow...hopefully he can get in for testing soon. He is taking more from a bottle today, however, still not what he should be taking, but he's definitely improved. I have been mixing his new formula with his old formula and he's taking it ok...but I need to wean him on the new one, unless they change it tomorrow when I take him back.
