14 Days left!

We took Leon to Chuck E Cheese earlier this week just to do something.
He LOVES Bob the Builder! He threw a fit to go back...so we won't be going back really soon I'm sure. Especially with Noah almost here.
Belly pic taken today. Compared to the last picture, I feel huge!

I only have 14 days left at the most before Noah will be. I cannot wait either! Since last Monday, my feet, ankles, and legs have started to swell. I never did this with Leon and it really is getting annoying! I gained 10 pounds in a week, but I think most of it is just me retaining water. If you saw what my feet look like, you'd understand! I'm sure a couple pounds was baby and "normal" weight gain, but most of it wasn't. The doctor mentioned it to me, but didn't seem too overly concerned. He did say that if I continued, obviously I'd have a harder time losing the weight after the baby. As soon as he said that, he also said that I am having another ultrasound next week to check the size of the baby again. I wish he would just do it next week instead of waiting another week. My due date was calculated according to the ultrasound I had done which showed 6w1d at the very beginning. I was measuring 8-10 weeks, so he wanted an "accurate" due date. At my 20 week ultrasound, there was just a few days difference between my due date and what the baby was measuring. Since then, I have continued to measure bigger every time and have had more ultrasounds done. Each time it's been almost 2 weeks bigger than my actual due date. Right now I'm sure the baby is measuring close to 39 weeks. If he is really as big as he's measuring...who knows if I would actually go into labor before the 14th. I feel absolutely HUGE all the time. Friends and family just laugh at me trying to do "normal" things. It's hard to get dressed in the mornings without having problems that most normal people don't have. I am tired all the time. Leon is fianlly starting to take a nap just about everyday again, so that means I also get a good nap in and feel more like playing with him and spending time with him instead of just wanting to sit on the couch all the time. I get up at least every 2 hours to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. If I walk too much, I get a weird feeling...I'd describe it as feeling a lot of weight in my lower abdomen...but not really pressure...just very uncomfortable. I waddle all the time now it seems. The typical pregnancy symptoms at the end I'm definitely getting this time around compared to with Leon. The picture was taken this evening. (36W5D) I got the results of my Group B Strep test back...negative, just like Leon's was with him. I still don't know if anything is going on though. I think that the doctor thinks he checked me last week, but he didn't. Maybe he will next week after the ultrasound. I'd really like to know what if anything is going on with my body though! At least maybe I'd have an idea of what to expect. I've definitely been having some braxton hicks contractions off and on, along with maybe one or two very mild normal contractions...but they seem to happen about the same time my bladder is full, so I'm not sure that that is really what they are. Regardless, 2 weeks and counting!

Leon's birthday party is suppose to be on the 11th...but if I happen to go into labor on my own before then, we would have to reschedule it. I know he wouldn't know the difference because all he knows is he's having a cars party...no other details he would understand anyway.

All of our bags are packed. My hospital bag is packed all except for the last minute things...hair brush, contacts, etc. Leon's clothes are all packed and actually at my parents house already. The only thing I have left to grab for him is his medicine when we leave for the hospital. Noah's diaper bag is all packed and ready for the ride home with his "coming home outfit" in it. All we are missing now is the baby! I just hope the next 2 weeks go by faster than I think they will. I saw my grandma today and saw her 2 weeks ago. She says I'm much bigger than I was before too...who knows. I am starting to get comments from strangers asking "when is your baby due?" My answer...i have 2 weeks left and it can't get here soon enough! Then they come back with something like...hang in there. I know so and so is due in about that amount of time and she's huge too! Boy oh boy...I hope Noah's big or something...it would make me feel better anyway :) The plan for if I go into labor in the middle of the night is to have my parents meet us at the hospital to get Leon. By the time we'd get there, they'd be almost there too. If it's during the day while Skip is at work, I'd have to have a friend take me. It'll all work out in the end though I know it will!
