MIA

I've been neglecting this site lately. I have all kinds of pictures to put up.
A few weeks ago, we went out to my parents. They found a really reasonable jeep for Leon to ride in. It was used, but we wanted to see if he liked riding in it or not. We went out to their house because they have a lot more room for him to ride it than we do at our house. When he first got in it was in reverse. That really scared him. He refused to get in it forever. We finally got him in it and he was ok with us pushing him around in it but would NOT push the gas pedal. Eventually he was ok with driving it himself, although he wouldn't ever let us put it in the faster gear, he had to stay in turtle mode. He loved it though!
Not too long after the jeep, we got a new addition to our family. We got a Boston Terrier puppy. We named her Bella, and she's the sweetest thing...when she wants to be. She's doing well with the house training stuff. She is about 10 weeks old, but keeps Rocky very active. She is so loveable though. Leon loves to try to pick her up, but we have to make sure he doesn't hurt her. He's very awkward when he does it.
We have decided to take the Especially for Children class at the hospital with Leon before the baby comes. They are suppose to take a stuffed animal and use that as the "baby". It teaches them how to hold the baby, and how to help out with the baby. They also stress to them that the baby needs a lot of attention but that they are not forgotten and still loved just as much as before. We thought it would be a good idea to take it with him. It won't be until the beginning of September, so it will be closer to when the baby comes. We still need to tour the hospital. We are having this one at a different hospital and we've never been there.
Today I was moving tubs of baby clothes and stuff around between our room and Noah's room. As I was going through the doorway one time I somehow hit my foot on the doorway. It immediately swelled up. I went to the immediate care place we usually go to and found out that I did in fact break my toe and have to see an orthopedic doctor/surgeon to see if I may require surgery! Leave it to me to really hurt myself while doing baby stuff I guess! I hope it doesn't come down to that though. Until I get to the specialist, I'm suppose to keep a walking shoe on it and keep the toes taped together. By doing this, it does actually look better, but a little more swollen. I've never broken a bone before, so this is all new to me.
I have my 29 week prenatal appointment tomorrow. This pregnancy is flying by! I had my glucose test 2 weeks ago and they said if they didn't call with any results, then everything was fine. I haven't heard anything so I'm assuming that everything is fine. We will discuss that tomorrow...as well as the issue of a possible surgery I'm sure once he sees "the shoe". hehehe Other than that, Noah is very active as usual. Leon actually got to feel him move the other day. He sat beside me with his hand on my belly. He moved and he looked up at me and smiled and says, "Do it again mommy!" It was too cute!
Leon is moving up to the 3 year old class whenever I am released to go back to work. I'm hoping it's soon though. I'm a little worried because that teacher isn't near as strict with the kids as the teacher he just had. I'm afraid he will walk all over her. She's going to have a tough class though. As of right now she absolutely adores him, but that could change really quick when he gets in her class:) He started gymnastics a couple of weeks ago at daycare too. He seemed to really enjoy it. He has his next one on Tuesday. I will keep everyone updated with everything going on though:)

Oh my goodness...that is just too cute!!! That needs to go in his baby book! :)
I can't believe you broke your toe! Ouch. That has to be so painful (especially while carrying baby Noah around)!
Thanks for posting all the pictures too! Bella is adorable. I love the last one of Leon...he's looking so grown up!
See you next week!

I'm glad you updated. I've wondered where you've been. Grace took one of those sibling classes too and I think it really helped her out.
Sorry about your toe. I hope for more updates soon!
