Tomorrow is the day
I'm excited for tomorrow. I have my 20 wk ultrasound and hopefully, baby permitting, we will find out the sex of the baby.
Leon is better some nights at going to bed, and not so much other nights still. Friday and tonight it didn't take very long to get him to go to sleep, maybe 15-20 minutes, but Saturday night it was another 45 minute night. I have been turning his fan on in his room for the extra noise. We've finally gotten the right "temperature" for the a/c to make it comfortable upstairs at night now so he doesn't "need" his fan on for comfort...just to drown out the sounds.
Today has been an interesting day too. We noticed a small spot of water on the floor in the play room yesterday and this morning it was a good 5-6 feet in the play room as well as wider than that across. I was getting ready to take my shower this morning and realized we had no hot water either. So, long story short, we had to replace the heating elements in the water heater, and replace some stuff on the a/c unit because the pipe wasn't over the drain, so it basically ran out into the play room. We are still trying to get half of the floor dried up pretty well. We've had fans on it all day, as well as trying to suck it up with the Shop Vac. Hopefully we can get more sucked up tomorrow a little better and it won't take too long for it to dry out completely. At first, we didn't know if it was from all the flooding that's going on right down the road from us. We've gotten so much rain in the last week, there's just no where for the rain to go....and we're expecting more. All the roads are open by us that we need to use to get places, however, about 10 minutes down the road is a whole other story. Most of those roads are still under water I belive. It's crazy around here lately with the weather!
I hope to update tomorrow with ultrasound pictures...keep your fingers crossed, we're hoping for a girl :)
