16 Weeks

I had my 16 week checkup today. Things are going well. We were finally able to find the heartbeat via the dopplar instead of ultrasound this time! I think we may have been trying too low all along. They finally found the baby's heartbeat just below my belly button instead of down lower where it typically would be. Heart rate today was 155. They said typically 120-160 is normal. Now I'm not sure what to expect. During the last ultrasound it was 167, granted, the baby was moving around constantly then too. Leon's was always in the mid 150's as well, but that was also during a more active ultrasound. They only gave me his heart rate from ultrasound with him, never from the doppler. I'm not sure what to think of this now...I'm still rooting for a girl though! I'll keep my fingers crossed. I go on June 9th to have my 20 week ultrasound. 4 weeks and counting!!

Leon goes to the ear, nose, throat, and allergy doctor tomorrow. Hopefully I will have more information to share then.
