New Beginnings

As most of you know, I work at the same daycare that Leon goes to in the old 2's class. He just moved up to my class this week. He's doing well with it overall. He hasn't been wanting to take a nap, but he's been doing that for quite some time lately. I wish he would because he would feel so much better in the evenings. One night this week it took him 1 1/2 hours to go to sleep at bedtime and that is NOT like him at all! He's starting to talk a lot better with being in there for a week though. I know it will improve more the longer he's in there, but I can tell a difference in only a week. It isn't going too bad with him in the class either. As the week went on, he got better and better. There are a few adjustments he'll have to make as far as learning the "rules" of the classroom but he's getting there...slowly.

It has been so nice this week. We are actually going to the zoo tomorrow. I can't wait. He loves going to the zoo. He can actually walk most of the way through it and it wears him out enough to take a nap...and I'm sure mommy and daddy will come home and take a nap too! :)

Tonight we went to see my parents. My mom is having knee surgery next week and I know she won't feel like doing anything for a while afterwards so I wanted to be able to let him go and play at their house for a while. Like usual...he loves being around his grandparents!

Things are going well on the baby front too I guess. I can tell that I'm getting bigger, but not everyone else can tell yet. I know that my regular t-shirts are getting tighter in the belly area and I've been in maternity pants for a while now. They are just so much more comfortable. I bought a manual pump for those "times" that I may need one at Meijer on clearance for $8.00 yesterday!!! I was SO excited. I couldn't believe it was so cheap. It was 80% off the regular sticker price. I figured if I don't use it, worst case, I wasted $8...not too bad...better than $150 that a lot of the electric pumps are! I go back to the doctor a week from Monday so I'm sure I will have more to update then. The only thing I'm not liking right now...my allergies are kicking my butt! I am taking regular allergy medicine, but my usual one has the decongestant which I can't take...so it's going to be a long 7 months I guess! I'm not looking forward to that part. Guess what I will be taking as soon as that baby comes out??? a Zyrtec-D!!! I can't wait!
