Followup ENT Appt
Leon had his 6 week follow up today with the ENT. His right ear of course looks great...like it always has. His left ear has a lot of ear wax deep down in his ear canal that he doesn't even want to attempt to try to dig out because Leon probably wouldn't let him attempt it. So, we are still on the ear drops, but only in the left ear, and only one time a day. I guess that will now be part of his nightly routine with his other medications so that I won't forget to do it. He goes back in 3 months for another follow up and will also have another hearing test done then. He said that the ear drops will help keep the wax moist enough that with the hairs and everything in his ears, it will eventually work its way out. I don't know what he's going to do if he still has a lot of wax build up when we go back. What causes wax anyway?? I wish he just had a normal left ear. Ever since he had a really bad ear infection in it at 6 months, that's the one he's always had issues with. One day it will be better I'm sure.
On the baby front, Noah has been extremely active lately! He is so active that Skip has even been able to feel him move just by having his hand on my belly. It never happened this early with Leon. It was all within the last month or so that he could actually feel him move, but he also wasn't near as active as what Noah is either. Not that I didn't think so to begin with, but these will probably end up being two totally different kids!!!!!!!
