9 Month Pictures

Can you believe Leon is 9 months already? I sure can't. Where in the world has the time gone?!?! He is currently sleeping...FINALLY. He has woke up exhausted the last 2 days. I don't really get it, but last night he had a fairly rough night. He has been waking up with this horrible sounding cough. I don't even really know how to explain it. It's not like a croupy cough or anything but it's almost like a child with asthma coughing...that kind of sound. He doesn't seem to be wheezing or anything but it sounds abolutely HORRIBLE! He started coughing around midnight last night. Off and on until 1 when I woke him up to give him some Triaminic. He coughs and coughs and coughs but it doesn't seem to wake him up. It sure as heck wakes me up though! Anyway, I gave him the Triaminic and he didn't start coughing again until 6...yes, 5 hours later! The triaminic is suppose to last 6-8 hours but did it??? Nope...it never seems to. I haven't given him any more because it just seems like it is worse when he's sleeping and laying down. He still coughs when he is up but it's more of a normal dry cough. He doesn't cough near as much or as hard either it doesn't seem like. I've heard there is a horrible cough going around...what it is for sure I have NO CLUE but hopefully this goes away soon. I hate it when he's "sick" even though he's really not sick. He just has a nasty cough. It's not a barky cough or anything just nasty. Ok...enough about the cough.

He goes to the doctor tomorrow for his 9 month checkup. I will definitely be asking the doctor about his cough though. I can't wait to see how much he has grown in the past month since he was there last. (His initial appointment with the new pediatrician they measured him as well) I think he's definitely gotten longer. Maybe he's going through a growth spurt or something too, who knows. We are starting stage 3 baby foods tonight. I don't think he can eat 2 whole jars of it and have his formula at bedtime, so I'll probably give him a whole jar of the vegetables/dinners, and half a jar of the fruit. It should last him plenty of time and then we'll be ready for table food. He is eating some table food now. More just to try them out though. He'll eat his baby food and then he'll eat some table food. That way I know wh at he's ate.

Here are his pictures, enjoy!!!
