New Formula

We have finally used all of the soy formula so Leon's bottle at lunch time will be his new/old formula! It's "new" in a sense. He actually started on it at birth but then he had a big problem with gas. I had to give him gas drops after every feeding I think. Obviously he doesn't have that issue any more, but we'll see. He finished his can of the soy yesterday at daycare and then at naptime he finished the can I had here. He actually has 2 ounces left of it in the bottle, but I'm not going to mix them. I'd rather start him off with a full dose of the new one. I don't really think he's going to have issues with it or anything, just that I'd rather not mix them. The doctor never said I had to anyway. Last night we went and bought Skip's fathers day gift. I wont' say on here what it is because he reads it like EVERY day! I'm actually going over to a friend's house later on after Leon gets up from his nap and has lunch and everything to finish his present. I of course, left most/part of it in the car last night so he wouldn't see it. I should be able to get it all "wrapped" up before he gets home from work tonight...I hope. It depends on what time he gets off of work I guess. Tomorrow is going to be So much fun I think. Danielle is coming over after church and we have some errands to do and then we're baking cookies for her to send to a friend. We're going down to Babies'r'Us to get an exer saucer for Tony, then we have to go to the store to get the stuff to make the cookies, and then if it doesn't rain we were going to take the boys swimming (unfortunately I think it's going to rain though) then we'll bake the cookies and then we were going to do some stuff with my hair as far as experimenting until I get my hair cut. I plan on making my appointment within the next week or two. I'm sure our afternoon and evening will be FULL of events! We won't even get started until 1:30 or 2 so we'll see how it goes. Other than that, not much is going on this weekend...busy, but nothing really "important".

Leon is doing well though. He seems to be adjusting to his crib mattress being elevated for his reflux. It took him about a week to get use to it. I'm not sure how "use" to it he really is, but he is definitely sleeping better at night. He is about halfway done with his stage 2 foods. The doctor said I could start him on table food any time, but we'll slowly introduce some table food while finishing up the baby food here soon I'm sure. I'll start with mashed potatoes and then work my way up I guess. Even though the doctor didn't say I had to or anything, I think I may buy some stage 3 baby foods just to make the transition a little easier because he needs something to eat and he's just going to jump straight into table food I'm sure! I'll let you know how it goes. I may try some fruit puffs/veggie puffs here again soon but just break them in half or something. He gagged on them quite a bit...but it's a TOTALLY different texture than he's use to also.

Here are the pictures from Target with all the boys! Enjoy!!!
