Long Week

This past week actually went by very fast, but as far as Leon went, it seemed to drag on. He's been waking up in the middle of the night a lot compared to normal, but he wakes up and just screams! Monday I took him to the doctor and they said his ears were fine, his throat was fine, he just needed something to help him clear up his congestion. He is always congested especially around when he cuts teeth, and sure enough, he cut another one right before we went to the doctor. He has 7 teeth now! 4 on top and 3 on bottom! He can't possibly cut his molars any time soon so we should be done as soon as his 4th bottom tooth comes in...I am hoping anyway! So, we get his medicine on Monday. The medicine can make you drowsy so sure enough, the first day it did! He slept FOREVER it seemed like that night. He went to bed early and once again I had to wake him up for daycare. Then Tuesday night, he woke up several times, so I took him back to the doctor Wednesday evening. They said that he had some pussy patches on his throat and did a strep test but it came back negative. He said that his sinus's are draining very bad and obviously his throat hurt. He said to keep giving him the drops he was on already and if he's not better in 7-10 days to follow up with the regular doctor again. He seems to be doing so much better now. He's back to normal other than fighting to take naps! I wish he'd stop and just go to sleep like he does at night:) He still wakes up from his naps crying VERY loudly, but I can deal with that. He takes a good nap once he finally falls asleep.

This weekend we haven't really done a lot. Saturday we went grocery shopping, Sunday we went to Skip's cousin's high school graduation open house. It was fun. His family got to see Leon and they hadn't seen him since Christmas, so that was nice. (Some of them haven't seen him since then anyway) Then we went shopping at the mall and out to eat for dinner and then back home. Today we are just going to relax and do laundry...the fun stuff!

He has 7 teeth now like I mentioned earlier. He has started stage 2 foods. Last night he did good. He didn't need cereal like he did with the stage 1's. We have an appointment to meet with the pediatrician next week that I think we'll be going with now. He is sitting up like a pro...most of the time. He still has times where he'll push back and fall straight backwards, but I've been keeping a pillow behind him so that he at least doesn't hurt his head when he does it! The floor is pretty hard! Other than that, not much has been going on. Here is a couple pictures that I've taken of him in the past couple of days too :)
