Happy Easter
This weekend has been full of events! Last night we colored easter eggs. That was fun! Along with that we had some terrible storms. We had TONS of hail and a lot of short term flooding at our apartment complex. The drains were so stopped up with the hail that the water couldn't drain...let alone the fact that it rained extremely hard for quite some time. There were tons of tornado warnings and everything. I hate spring time in Indiana sometimes!!!!
Today I watched Tony for a few hours while his mom worked. It was actually a lot smoother than I thought it would be with a 6 month old and a 2 month old! It was actually quite pleasant. For about an hour they both were sleeping! Here is a picture of the boys today :)
While Tony was sleeping, Leon decided to get into the easter eggs that we had ready to take to my grandparents tomorrow:
We have been working with Leon on sitting up too. A friend from high school is letting us borrow this cool chair for him:
Today we went to my cousins birthday party. They had a "pool party". They rented out a local high school's pool for a couple hours. It was actually pretty fun. I took Leon swimming...but not for long. He was cranky. He LOVED seeing all the other kids play in the water. He was tired, hungry, and cranky which didn't settle well with him. This is the only picture he is actually happy in! (at least somewhat happy in) He really didn't do too bad though. The water wasn't extremely cold like I expected, but it wasn't warm either :) It never is in a public pool! Anyway, needless to say, I will definitely try again fairly soon I'm sure. He cried, but it was really loud. He would cry and then stop, and cry, and then stop...enjoy this pic. It is SO cute!
Some new news on the Leon update...he has finally learned to roll from his back to his belly! Now he just seems to roll ALL OVER THE PLACE!!! It's kind of nice, but kind of annoying sometimes. He is growing up so fast. We will be starting his fruits in the next couple of days. He has one more day of peas...which he doesn't seem to like as well as the last time before he got sick. He eats them, but doesn't like them as well. I wouldn't either I guess! Before we know it, he'll be crawling all over the place!
Finally, the easter bunny has left his presents for Leon on his high chair for in the morning!! Enjoy and HAPPY EASTER everyone!!!
