Noah is home!
Noah came home today. I called this morning before taking Leon to preschool to see how well Noah urinated overnight and they said he had done better. I actually talked to the doctor for a minute and he said he was getting ready to fill out his discharge paperwork and that Dr. Smith, who did the surgery, came in early this morning to see him and said he looked great and was ready to go whenever I got there. I took Leon to school, went to the store and took a shower before heading out to get him. When I got there, he was eating so after he ate and got his diaper changed, I had gathered everything up got him dressed and out the door we went. I have never seen a discharge so fast in my life! From the time I pulled in the parking garage, walked completely through the entire hospital to get to where he was, fed him, changed him..twice, got him dressed and left, it was under an hour...that was from parking in the garage to leaving the garage! I was shocked. I couldn't believe it went so fast and so smoothly. He hasn't had any pain medicine since 9:30 this morning and is doing great. He took a very small amount from the bottle, but I don't want to push him just yet. I want him to ease into it a little before jumping in full force again. He gets to take off his bandage off of his head tomorrow and then he's suppose to wear a hat, similar to the newborn type hats they wear at the hospital. Hopefully I have one to fit him or he won't be wearing one :) I'll update more later. I'm getting ready to get Leon in the bath and get him ready for bed.

Can you give us some more detail what the surgery was for? I may have missed it, but when I googled "acephlacele" nothing came up. Glad all went well.
