Monday is the day!!

Finally, we have a date set for Noah to be discharged!!! Yeah!!!!!! Yesterday he had his swallow study and he's just not getting the eating thing AT ALL! She said they usually grow out of it, so someday he'll just get it and it will click. He has to go back in 4-6 weeks for a follow swallow study. He will be sent home with the ng tube which is what he is currently on in the hospital. Skip did his training today for how to put it in and I'll do mine tomorrow. I've done part of it already, just not the actually putting in the tube. He will also be sent home with a monitor for sleeping and when we aren't in the room. We will get training on that as well as cpr. They will be sending a home healthcare nurse out 3 times a week for 3 weeks to check on things and answer questions if we have them. They will also deliver the supplies we need for all of his feedings. I'm just ready to get him home! I'm not really nervous, just anxious to get my baby home! I'm getting ready to go back to the hospital now. I had to come home and take a nap. I was so exhausted from everything and it finally caught up with me I guess. Now I can just relax and get his diaper bag ready...again for him to come home.
