Feisty Noah!!

I have never seen a baby who knows exactly what he wants when he wants it and will throw the worst tantrum to get it ASAP! Noah has been feisty since the minute he was born, but boy does he continue to show us all sorts of things! This morning, his oxygen was moved back up to 40% but by the time I left later on this evening, it was back down to the 34-35% range. He gets so worked up and upset about stuff that he doesn't maintain his oxygen level. Once he finally calms down it usually goes back to normal, but if it doesn't within a certain amount of time, they will bump the oxygen back up. He's definitely something else that's for sure!!!!! He's off all of his iv fluids finally and has been for about 2 days now. He is only on the vapotherm which is a heated oxygen/air mixture. They won't wean him down liter wise until his oxygen is a little bit lower. Tomorrow he has his echocardiogram. I'm hoping that all of that turns out ok and doesn't put him under too much stress. Tonight while I was holding him he got really upset all of a sudden. It turned out he had pooped just enough that it irritated his skin that's already irritated with diaper rash, and screamed his head off! Once he was changed he was a completely different kid. He ate, let out some farts and went back to sleep like a typical boy would do I guess. :) He's such a sweetheart though. I will definitely have some pictures posted by this weekend. I'm going to be home the next 2 nights so there shouldn't be a reason I can't get them downloaded. I know some of you are dying to see pictures! More updates to come as more news comes along. Hopefully we can keep coming down on the oxygen and he'll be home before we know it!
