Trash Digger...who are you talking to?

Our little Puppy...again!

Well, I want to start off saying congratulations to Skip! He has passed his CDL Class B test and now has his license. I'm very proud of him. Some of you already know that, but most of you don't.

Now that Christmas is over...it's trying to find that perfect spot to put all the toys! I think we've done a pretty good job though. Leon got a lot of toys...not many clothes which is good because he has TONS of them! He got a couple different things that will allow him to stand up to "walk". They are things he can hold on to while walking...right now he likes to push them out in front of him until he practically falls on his face though! He'll get it eventually I know! He was in a Christmas program at daycare and it was SOOO cute! His class did "Oh Christmas Tree". He was dressed up as a Christmas Tree. He actually "sang" some too! I think he was about the only one in his class that sang though. We were sitting in the back of the gym and we could hear him clear as day saying, "Baba ooh bababababa" I wish we would taken the video camera! We never think of stuff like that until it's too late! It was the cutest thing I've ever seen though!

As far as my work goes...I'm a little confused as to what I want to do now. I got called into the office yesterday and they told me that effective January 1st, I will be receiving a $1.00 raise per hour! This is huge...considering that they don't really give raises hardly ever! Not only that, but if I would have gotten one at 90 days, one at a year, and one at 2 years...they probably wouldn't have added up to a dollar total! So, that is a good thing. They told me I'm doing a great job, they want me to stay there, so they are giving me the raise so that I will want to stay I guess. That was followed up with, "You aren't planning on going anywhere are you?" What on earth do you say to that?!?! I told them no...but I just don't know what to do now. With Skip possibly looking for something else, it would be in my best interest to stay there for a while longer...both of us don't need new jobs at once I don't think! Who knows...that's a lot for us to sit down and talk about though!

Leon's favorite teacher at daycare is leaving. I'm actually bummed about it though. I actually really enjoyed talking to her. She is leaving to go to school though so I can't blame her. She has our phone number and has offered to come and baby sit for him any time she's home. I never thought to get her number too!!!!! Gee whiz...what was I thinking??? She took TONS of pictures with Leon yesterday. He really liked her too. I hope he gets along with his next teacher as well as he did her. I was glad to see her further her education, but sad for Leon at the same time. He won't know any difference though, and I'm sure she will follow through and call to baby sit...she even offered to do it for free...but I wouldn't do that to her! I guess I will have one of the teachers let me know her address at school so I can send her some pictures of Leon...I know she'd love it! I'm sure there are a few she'll still talk to. She'll have to come in to get her last check I guess!!!!

Leon has 2 teeth that should come through at any time! They are his last 2 incisor teeth. He has one that is just about through the skin. You can actually see the white part of it but you can't feel it yet! He was actually running a fever the Saturday before Christmas of 102.4. I don't know if it had something to do with the teeth or not though. I took him to Immediate Care to make sure since Christmas Eve was the next day and I knew we were going to be gone for a couple of days. They said he had some "crackling" in his lungs and put him on an antibiotic along with a few breathing treatments and he was back to normal in a couple of days. His fever actually broke on Christmas morning...sometime between 8:30 Christmas Eve and 2 or 3 in the morning when I went to check on him to see if he needed more Tylenol. They always seem to last for about 48 hours! Him and his fevers I'm telling you!

Well, here are some pictures too! I don't have the ones from Christmas back yet. I'm still waiting on those to be developed...maybe I'll take them in tomorrow. Anyway...here are some msic pictures. Some are even from Halloween!!!! The other cute one is of him in his "christmas sweater"!! He is so adorable!!! Any takers??
