What a weekend...

so far! Thursday I woke up with some pain in my throat and ears. I thought nothing of it really...figured it would go away like it usually does. Friday I got up and it was worse. I kept an eye on my throat at work and it just didn't look good. So, after I picked Leon up at daycare we went to the doctor. Well...as I suspected...STREP THROAT! Do you know how long it has been since I've had that?!?! So, I'm on an antibiotic for that...quite a bit if I don't say so myself! Today we had family pictures and tomorrow I am relaxing! Skip is going to the Colts game, but not me. I'm staying home with Leon and doing laundry and sitting on my butt on the couch I'm sure! Enough exciting stuff for me for the weekend that's for sure! I'll upload the family pictures tomorrow probably...or whenever I get around to it. I've been staying out of Leon's face all day the last couple of days though that's for sure! Hopefully he doesn't get it. He has an appointment with the nurse on Tuesday to get his second dose of his flu shot, but I guess it could always turn into something else if I had to! Anyway...if he's going to get it he should be showing symptoms here in the next day or so I'd think...if not, at least we're in the clear I guess! Kids...they seem to get everything...but Skip has NEVER gotten anything that I've gotten. I'm still very sore, but I can't do much about it...just drink a lot of cold stuff and frozen stuff...and hope it goes away. It is a LOT better than it was yesterday at this time though! Hopefully our weekend gets better! (not that it's been bad)
