It's gone!!

The eye infection is finally gone after 3...yes 3 trips to the doctor for it...and 1 to immediate care! Monday his eye was down as far as the swelling was concerned, but still extremely red. So, I took him back to the doctor. They put him on some Zyrtec-allergy medication along with the antibiotic. I brought him home, gave it to him and took him back to daycare after he ate lunch and wouldn't you know it was almost completely GONE! Boy did that stuff work fast! The doctor wanted to see him again on Tuesday to make sure he didn't need to see an eye doctor, so I took him back and she said to finish the Zyrtec until the redness/pinkness is gone. It's just about there, but he can actually see great out of it now! I'm so glad that is over with!

Leon has officially moved to the toddler room now at daycare. He is such a big boy. He takes great naps with the other kids. He took his last bottle tonight before bed time. We are going to stop giving them to him now that we have the weekend to sleep in if he has a rough night but hopefully it won't be too difficult. He's spent the last 3 days in the toddler room the entire time and he goes RIGHT to sleep when they lay him down for his nap. No crying or anything so I'm hoping it will be fairly easy at home too. I think the bottle helps make him a little more tired, but I can only hope that the bath and bed time lotion will work well on its own.

Danielle and I are speaking again. Our plans for this weekend include going to the Children's Museum. Leon hasn't ever been before and I really think he'd enjoy it. There is going to be a big group of us. Saturday night I'm suppose to play cards with a group of people at Danielle's but it all depends on how well Leon cooperates with no bottle! I'm sure he'll do fine...it'll be like the pacifier...the first night will be the worst. Other than that I don't have much going on this weekend. Hope everyone's weekend is great!!
