Looking Better

Leon's eye is starting to look better. It is still extremely red and swollen, but the swelling has gone down some. If he doesn't wake up in the morning with it looking a lot better I'm still going to take him to the doctor I think to have them look at it and make sure it is actually getting better. The last thing I want is for him to lose some vision in that eye. We have been doing the warm rag compressions today for about 10 minutes. That is honestly the only thing that has made a difference. I haven't noticed a difference until then. I don't know if the antibiotic isn't working like it should or what the deal is. I just want it to be better like NOW! I'm so afraid that daycare won't deal with him to do them though. I will be extremely furious if they don't. He was diagnosed with Periorbital Cellulitus. I know...it sounds nasty, but it also looks nasty! Of all things for my kid to get, he would get the weirdest crap!

This weekend hasn't turned out to be so great either. I did get to see an old roommate from college. She came over yesterday and hung out for a while but after that the evening went downhill. I was suppose to get together with someone else but things turned out blowing up and as of right now we still aren't talking...but I'm being stubborn this time and not giving in. Not interested in posting details or anything...but if they read this...they'll know who it is. Hope everyone else's weekend was better than mine! Dealing with a sick kid isn't so much fun!
