Who knew

...that watching a birth would be so exhausting?? I know it's exhausting to give birth, but I have been so tired and worn out since Friday! I can't seem to get over it. I'm getting ready to hit the sack, but thought I'd post a little first.

There isn't too much going on really. Leon has slept fairly well all weekend...all through the night like he usually does until he's starting to wake up. I would think that would help me get some better sleep, and trust me it has...it's just like I can't catch up on it for some reason! Tomorrow, I'm taking my friend to the store who just had the baby so she can pick up a few things and I need to get a few things myself. Then, Tuesday and Wednesday I am helping her with her 3 1/2 year old as far as getting him to daycare and home from daycare. (he goes to the same daycare Leon does so it's really convenient) This weekend I'm considering taking Leon to go visit some family members that he doesn't get to see too often...mainly so they can see him. They really haven't seen him since Christmas. It all depends on the weather and how he is doing. he is still slightly congested (nasally) and today his nose has been running some, but he seems to be doing fine now. He got his bath tonight which helps so much in the nightly routine. He gets one about every other day. This weekend has been rough since I haven't been home as much as normal. I've been at the hospital every day and then I went over to her house this evening to take her the pump that I used when I got home from the hospital. Tony is nursing excellent still. Leon didn't since he was in the NICU for about 4 of the 5 days I was in the hospital. He did ok at the hospital but once we got home he wanted NOTHING to do with it and I didn't feel like I should stress out too much, so I pumped some and gave that to him, but I just didn't put the time into that I should have. Maybe baby # 2 will nurse better if he/she has no complications! I'm heading to bed now. I need some rest!
