Feeling even better

Here is Leon supporting his favorite collegiate team!!

Leon has improved so much over these past few days with getting over his cold. I'm so excited that he's getting better. Daycare has even commented that the past few days he has hardly even coughed. I'm just hoping that once he's done with his medicine that it doesn't come back. He slept so well last night and so far is doing a great job tonight. I'm slowly taking away one thing at a time at night as far as his "decongestant" stuff. (wall outlet, Vicks baby rub, etc)I've just left the wall outlet in because I know it will help him but I may try it without it tomorrow because has gotten over just about the entire cold except for the coughing. He goes back to the doctor on February 22nd for his 4-month checkup and his shots so the doctor will see how he's doing then I'm sure.

I went to the Immediate Care center last night. I've had this "cold" which won't even budge with any type of over the counter medications, so I went to make sure it wasn't a sinus infection and sure enough...I have a sinus infection. It's only the second one I've ever had, so I haven't quite gotten the symptoms down yet! I'm just glad that I've finally figured out what it was. I had the same thing a couple weeks ago with just a few days of feeling good in between so who knows how long I've actually had it. He said it was "slight" but he also told me several other things that I didn't necessarily agree with. He didn't act like he wanted to give me an antibiotic because I'm on the pill again! He said it was my choice, so I said, "yes, I want an antibiotic. I know the risks involved with antibiotics and birth control pills, and I have a 4 month old at home, so I know how not to get pregnant again." So, he said, ok, let me get your paper work ready and then you'll be all set. I was already frustrated that I almost walked out because I sat in the exam room for 1 hour without anyone coming in the room! I heard him in the 2 rooms next to me twice at each one, so how on earth could I NOT have been next?? I don't get it, but oh well. The point is...I got my antibiotics and am feeling better today than I did yesterday.
