Contractions

Yes...my friend is having contractions today! She has tried everything she knows to try to speed along the labor process. She walked a lot yesterday and then had contractions for a couple of hours and then they stopped. Today, we took Leon out for a little stroll around the mall, which he LOVES, while she walked to hopefully have some more contractions that actually get "longer, stronger, closer together" as they tell you in the birthing classes. On the way home, she was having some...mainly a lot of back pain and they were starting to come around her sides into her lower abdomen. I called her about half an hour ago to see how she was feeling and she said she's still having them and they are getting a little stronger!!!!!! Yeah...we may be headed to the hospital tonight after all! I hope so. I'm so ready for Leon to have a little friend! Keep your fingers crosses that she goes into labor tonight!! I am! I have my plan all figured out for Leon too. As soon as I get "the call" my mom will come over and stay with him while I go to the hospital to be there for the birth. She's excited to spend some time with Leon and I'm excited because I know how badly she wants to have the baby...this weekend especially! Come on Tony!!!! The wonderful outside world is awaiting your arival!
