Update

Things are going well at home. Noah occasionally will have his screaming fits and wants absolutely NOTHING to do with being put down. He had one last night and the last time before that was Sunday so he's doing pretty good I guess. The monitor rarely goes off unless he's mad or one of his leads isn't on correctly so he's doing fine health wise. He is doing ok with the bottle. He still needs to improve a lot before they will allow him to not have the tube. I can't tell if he's improved on the bottle or not as far as the close to aspiration part goes. I just hope he doesn't have to have the tube for much longer because hello...I'd like to see my babies face and pick him up and hold him with no cords or tubes attached...someday that will be a reality, just not for a little while I guess. Other than that, he's doing great. He sleeps almost all the time. He has went about 6-7 hours at night without wanting to eat and usually goes right back to sleep. He is usually quiet when he is awake just looking around at everything. He's doing well at holding his head up. He HATES his baths still. It took Leon about a month of getting them before he finally stopped screaming during them. He had a bath last night and slept great. He smiles in his sleep all the time and is getting close to smiling when he's awake. The nurse came today and he weighed 10 lbs 2 oz. He's fitting his 0-3 month clothes very well now. They aren't really too big on him or anything which is nice that he's not swimming in them, but sad that he won't be wearing them for too long, but I guess that comes with the territory. He's your typical baby I guess in a round about way.

Leon is doing better everyday with the big brother stuff. He starts preschool on Tuesday. He seems to be really excited about it but we will see how excited he really is when we finally get there I guess. He will start out going Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 to 2 and then in January they have a full time opening that he can take. He took the last opening they had in the entire facility I think. I think he needs that interaction with kids and the learning environment that he had before at daycare. He misses it I think without him actually saying it. He loves to help with the pacifier for Noah and loves to get down on the floor and talk to him, although sometimes he does tend to be a little rough but once you tell him to stop, he settles down and is fine...most of the time anyway. That's about all for now. I'll update more later.
