Sick...again...sort of
Yesterday Leon woke up with a fever of a little over 100...not too big of a deal, so I gave him some Tylenol and away we went playing the rest of the day. After his nap, he got up and it had jumped up to 102.5 so again I gave him some tylenol. 1 hour later it was still 102.3 so I gave him some Motrin. An hour after that it had gone down to 101.3 but that was the lowest I could get it! Last night after the super bowl I went in to check on him around midnight because he would be due for some more Tylenol. Low and behold...his fever broke!...or so I thought. At 12 it was normal...98.9. Then at 3:30 he felt a little warmer, but not really hot or anything. I went in at 6:45 knowing I had to make a decision on whether I was going to work or not. I took it again and it was back up to 101.5. So I decided, I'm calling the doctor to get him in. It turns out he has PINK EYE....yeah, surprised me too...but right before the doctor walked in, I noticed his one eye was really bloodshot looking. He had some goopy stuff on his eye lashes as well, but he also has a sinus infection! Fun fun fun...his fever still hasn't broke. I ended up working from 12-5 so I missed 4 hours today, but I had to take him and get his medicine and everything. My mom watched him while I went to work. I've warned work already that I may not be there if his fever doesn't break. In all honesty...I really kind of secretly hope it doesn't break because we're suppose to get 4-6 inches of snow tomorrow, and that is the LAST thing I feel like doing! I'll keep you updated. He's also been on breathing treatments again all weekend because he was coughing like crazy...that finally subisded yesterday enough that he could sleep with no cough syrup or breathing treatments! It's looking better I guess! he LOVES the amoxicillian too I might add...he's never been on it before...so that's a first I guess!

Jayla had a 103.1 temp on Saturday. We managed to get it down that night with Motrin and a cool bath though. I'm thinking it was related to teething. Good luck with Leon...I got pink eye a few times when I was little...eww!
