17 Days!!!!!

Just 17 days until we are officially homeowners! We close on the house on the 21st. I can't believe it is so close!

Once we close we will probably go and order Leon's Christmas present. We were already going to get him a new bedroom suit but today finalized that! He can almost climb out of his crib!!! With the railing all the way up, he can practically get his foot on top of the railing...and I know this won't take long for him to fall out! He practically falls out of shopping carts anymore...we have quite the monkey on our hands! We found a 5 piece bedroom suit today at Ashley Furniture that we REALLY liked. It's reasonable too. I looked at Value City Furniture online and just the bed alone there...no mattress...was about half the price of the whole suit at Ashley Furniture so we are leaning towards that one. It has a night stand, twin bed, dresser, and chest of drawers with a mirror on it...of course, he wouldn't need that now, but we know there will be a day sometime right around the corner where he's going to want the mirror...plus it just looks better I think. So...that's what his Christmas present will be from us. (Rather pricey for a 2 year old...but he definitely needs it) All of his baby furniture will go in the extra bedroom to wait on baby #2 whenever we decide we are ready to take that step. Boy do we have all kinds of expenses coming up for us! Painting, and bedroom stuff...FUN FUN FUN!
