WOW...a new post

I have been horrible at posting lately as I'm sure you can all tell. It has been a whirlwind of a month though! I found out that I will no longer have a job as of May 31st. That has been extremely stressful. I have had some interviews and should find out about one of them by the end of next week. The other one I should find out about tomorrow. It is possible I can actually end up doing both. That part I will explain about later though. (I want to see which ones I get and don't get first)

Lets see, Leon is talking up a storm! He learns how to say new words every day. He can say:
mama
dada
ball
cat
dog
grandma
yellow
purple
red
orange
blue
nana
peek-a-boo-although most of the time, he just wants to play the game!
David
goofball
football
goober

I know there are a lot of other ones too, they just aren't coming to mind right now. He is constantly saying new stuff. David is a boy in his class, and Nana is what he calls one of his grandma's, but his teacher's name at daycare is Savannah, so I think it's short for that too because that is what they call her there.

Last Friday we went out in the evening for the first time since Leon has been born. We're slowly getting over the hurdle! We've been out during the day and everything, but this was the first time we've been out and had someone else bathe him, put him to bed, etc. It was nice. Savannah watched him and they had a really good time I think...he slept until 9 or after the next day anyway! She just adores him and he loves her too. Well, it's late and I need to get to bed, but I will update more later as far as the jobs go as I find out more. I just wanted a small update since it's been well over a month now! Sorry :(

Sorry to hear about your job! I hope you do find something quickly and easily. I'm sure you are stressed!

That's a huge vocabulary Leon's got. Good for you and hubby having a date night. My husband and I have been out a few times but we've never had anyone else put him to bed. I haven't felt that brave yet. :)

Oh, it's taken me 19 1/2 months to get that brave! His teacher at daycare watched him and she puts him down for naps, so it was a little bit more relaxing for me, but still..a HUGE step for me, as with any mother!
